This dealership has honestly restored my faith in car dealerships. The interactions that I had with the Toyota dealers in Ohio felt as if they were looking to take advantage and were playing me. I can't say enough about Louisville Toyota. They were all exceptional and really made this dream happen for me. Ashley was the girl. She kept in contact and kept me informed. Tim was just as amazing in providing me with all the direction and information I would need to drive this beautiful car back to Ohio. And to top it off he's a Buckeye and played football for OSU!! David was also extremely helpful, knowledgable and patient. Not one time did anyone complain that we didn't get there until 7pm and kept them there past closing. Tim Patillo made purchasing our new car easy. He was very knowledgeable on all of the Toyota products, took his time demonstrating the features, and worked with us on our budget. At no point did we feel pressured, or that we were wasting his time looking over several cars. He even understood where I was trying to save money, and helped where he could. Dean in finance was also outstanding. Again, no pressure at all and he took his time explaining every detail. Easiest place to buy a vehicle

If you want to purchase a vehicle with nobody rushing rushing you, go to Toyota of Louisville. I bought a Camry XSE in July and yesterday I bought a new 4Runner. Before I bought it I walked the lot looking at these and the Tacoma and it did not take me long to figure out the Tacoma was not feasible for me. I was though worried about doing from a Ram truck, but this has more room for everyone with the 3rd row seating and our kids are gone. So it was not a hard decision and for when I need to haul something that won’t fit I will just use my trailer As for the sales staff, I knew who I was going to see and Tim was a great salesman with a an awesome sense of humor, talkative about things other than making a sale, so it is very easy to feel comfortable and relax. So if you want a relaxing, comfortable atmosphere without being tackled by multiple salesman coming at you in the lot, go to Toyota of Louisville and you will be disappointed. As far as a trade, I traded my 2014 Ram and before they even knew what I was looking to buy they came back with an appraisal = to the highest price on all pricing websites and this gave me an extra $4500 to put down So if you are looking for a new car and a fair trade go see Tim, you will not be disappointed and if you are wondering, no I don’t work there. I am getting ready to retire in 6 months. I just want everyone to know this is a great place and I have bought a lot of vehicles and never had an experience like this and I was not there all day. Excellent buying experience.

My shopping experience began at a competing dealership. After several days of being given the run around, I was told that my vehicle was ready and the deal was approved. I arrived to take delivery and learned that I was misled and an attempt was made to force me to take possession of a vehicle without the features agreed upon and in a different (undesirable) color. I rejected that "deal" and left very angry about being treated so poorly and lied to. I immediately called Toyota of Louisville and connected with Tim. He was attentive, knowledgable, respectful and thorough. He located exactly the vehicle that I wanted. When I explained the deal struck with the other dealership, Tim reviewed the figures and pointed out errors they made. He then beat the other dealer's terms with no unnecessary haggling. I took delivery within about 2 hours of calling and meeting Tim. My experience with Toyota of Louisville, Tim and Mr. Swope (the GM) was second to none. They have earned my business and I will refer friends and family there in the future. If you're looking for an awesome buying experience, without the hassles, look no further than Toyota of Louisville.

I had went to 4 other dealerships and each one left a bad taste in my mouth. I went to Toyota of Louisville and fell in love with a car I had found. Mr Tim Patillo was glad to help me out and didn't hesitate to answer all the questions I had. I didn't feel pressured from him at all. Mr Patillo and Mr Dean Sexton were able to get me the car I wanted for a great price, and worked with me on the payment plan. Would recommend to everyone!

Easiest Buying Experience I've Ever Had

I was in the market for a brand new Tacoma. After a ton of research, I knew exactly what I wanted and, thanks to KBB, what price range people were paying for them in my area. I went to the 'other' Toyota dealer in Louisville as they were closer to my house and also had the model/options I wanted. All in all this should have been the easiest sale they ever made as I have excellent credit, owe a good bit less on my nice trade than the KBB trade in value, had a large down payment, and knew exactly what I wanted. Things started to go down hill when they offered me close to 50% of the KBB trade value on my current car. Which mind you it was a very clean 2013 with low miles and was fully loaded. They weren’t willing to budge on that at all so I told them no biggie I would just keep the trade and sell it myself. So we moved onto the price of the Tacoma. He showed me the MSRP price and then they’re ‘sale price’ which was only a few hundred less than the MSRP. I politely asked if they could work on the price at all. The salesman, who was really nice in the beginning, got very defensive. He proceeded to lecture me about how well Toyotas hold their value and what great trucks they are. I told him I agreed with him 100% and that was why I wanted to buy one. However I’m not willing to pay full blown MSRP for it because 1, KBB tells you the price range they’re selling for in our local area and 2, no one pays full blown MSRP. After being there for 4 hours, I had to twist the salesman's arm to give me the keys back to my car so that I could leave. The GM ran over and asked why I changed my mind. I told him I would not be paying MSRP and would be going somewhere else. He asked what I was willing to pay and then said they would gladly come down to that as it was a fair price. I told him after being there for so long and being insulted by his salesman that I refused to give them my business. I called Toyota of Louisville the next day, as they had the same exact model/options, and spoke with Ashley. At first I was nervous that I was going to have the same experience here but from the moment I met Ashley she made me feel welcome and assured me I was going to leave extremely happy. Tim and herself were fantastic to deal with. Within 10 minutes of being there they gave me $1500 OVER the KBB trade value of my trade in AND crushed the other dealer's price on the new truck! I actually got it for even less than the price I was trying to get the other dealer to come down to! In less than an hour, I was driving home with my brand new Tacoma. So if you’re looking to get ripped off on your trade, pay full blown MSRP on the new car, and spend all day there only to be insulted by the salesmen go to the other dealer in Louisville. On the other hand if you value your time and want a great deal as well as a more than fair offer for your trade, go to Toyota of Louisville. It was well worth the short drive and, thanks to Ashley and Tim, they have made a lifetime customer!

My wife and I delt with Tim Patillo searching for a vehicle for my wife. We started with a Corrola, extensivly test drove the vehicle, and decided we needed something more accommodating for her comfort. Tim recommended the Rav4 and rightly so, we bought it. During the visit, Donna Altieri, BDC Manager interacted with us throughout the conversation, offered coffee or a bottle of water which added to the great experience. At no time did we feel any pressure to buy, pressure to "Beat them down", or the typical discomfort with a high pressure dealer. Toyota of Louisville made the event successful for all of us. I also want to mention the folks in the service department. Kevin Ashton is a fantastic asset to the staff, as well as John, Mike Moe and Bud. Great folks.

Salesman Tim P. was great but be careful with Finance

Tim P. Is a great salesperson but only after it was too late did we learn that Dean, the finance guy, sold us an extended warranty from a one of the worst rated companies in the country! Thought we were getting a genuine Toyota plan through Toyota financial since that's where our new 4runner is financed, but no, he charged us about the same price for the generic company who has nothing to do with Toyota Financiall, doesn't like to pay claims, and can take weeks and months to resolve what they do decide to pay for! Found out about the non-toyota extended warranty 2 weeks after we got the car , in a letter from Toyota Financial. We could and should have gotten a similar GENUINE Toyota warranty through Toyota Financial for the same money! Now he won't answer the phone or return messages! If you have to finance your car and/ or want an extended warranty , be smarter than us, before you sign! Update - My hat's off to Mr Swope! Dean gave me a call, apologized for the misunderstanding and agreed to switch the extended warranty to a genuine Toyota plan. Thanks Dean, Tim, and Mr Swope. I will consider another purchase in the future???

2017 Prius - great buying experience

I had been interested in a 2018 C-HR and took a test drive with Tim Patillo a couple weeks ago. There was no pressure to buy and he was very nice and knowledgeable. Fast forward two weeks and I get a bait and switch situation from a different Toyota dealership (very shady place, you should definitely choose Toyota of Louisville). Before I even leave the shady dealership I call Tim and tell him I'm on the way to see him. When I pull up at Toyota of Louisville, Tim is outside waiting for me and drives a beautiful silver 2018 Toyota C-HR XLE Premium right up to me! I purchased a Prius from Tim Patillo at Toyota of Louisville on Dixie Highway. I hated the thought of car shopping. It had been a stressful event up until now. After talking with Tim I told him what I wanted my car to have and he searched for the one for me. As it turned out my car was shipped from Japan to the dealership and I picked it up the day after it arrived. It had 1 mile on the odometer. Tim spend an enormous amount of time trying to explain the features of my car. He was very patient and thorough. The car was immaculate and had a full tank of gas. The hunt for the perfect truck!

This dealership is not the close to my house but I drive past the others to deal with Toyota of Louisville. I have purchased 3 Toyota's at the dealership in the last 9 years (2 new, 1 used) and I have always been treated well. I can buy a Toyota anyplace, but I cannot get the same service at the other dealerships (I've tried, even bought one at another dealership). They want my business and they work to get it ( and I don't always make it easy). Timothy Patillo has been a great help. We have worked together for over a year to set up my Tacoma purchase. How many people would work with a guy for over a year? Not many! I appreciate the entire staff and my next purchase will be at Toyota of Louisville and yours should too! After 25 years, I had an enjoyable experience buying a car!

I can't say enough about this dealership and Tim Patillo. I leased a car from here for my son 3 years ago. It was an easy experience then. I came back when it was my turn. I was nervous, waiting for the usual "surprises" that have always happened. The let-down after the excitement when I decide to commit to a purchase...the dreaded compromised I am forced to make..NOPE, not here. What Tim says is what you get. Great experience, perfect vehicle

I was greeted by Nathan. I told him my situation and what type of vehicle I wanted. He was very helpful. Didn’t hard sale me, or talk my ear off. He asked me some questions and showed me vehicles until we found the perfect one for me. When something wasn’t right, he just showed me another one. I never felt like he was trying to “get me into a car”. Lisa was great too, and was able to get me a better deal on the extended warranty and maintenance plan I wanted. The experience really easy. The entire process only took a few hours. Nathan basically sold me probably my favorite vehicle I’ve ever had. So I recommend this place for anyone who wants a Toyota.

Preferred Dealer!?!

I have been to several dealerships and have spoken with several salesman and never thought I would consider one a friend. Joseph Campbell is that man but to call him a salesman and lumping him with the rest (you know the type) would be an insult. My wife and I have now purchased 3 vehicles from Toyota of Louisville with Mr. Campbell being our friend to guide us through the process. Cant say enough good things!!!

I went to TOL because Joe Campbell came highly recommended even though it was further than the Toyota dealership 5 minutes from our home. We have been buying cars for 30 years and this was by far the best experience I've ever had. I wasnt sure what I wanted when I went to the dealership. We started working with Joe and immediately I knew I wanted to buy from him, no one else ever treated us the way he did. Joe is friendly, respectful, KNOWLEDGEABLE, courteous and not high pressure. I had looked at many cars over the previous 6 months and never found the "1". Joe showed me a Toyota Highlander and I fell in love. He showed and explained in detail all of the features, leasing vs buying, price, etc etc. I wasnt sure about trading a car or not, he was very helpful over 3 days of me changing my mind. I went back 2 days later. everything was as promised, and I was in and out quickly. Joe again went over all of the features of the truck with me. Not only was Joe great but the entire dealership team. I will buy ALL cars and advise everyone I know to go to this dealership and to Joe from now on! This was my first time buying a car, I came in with no pre existing knowledge of what I was getting myself into as duch I was very anxious about the whole experience. I've heard the horror stories of the greasy sales guy looking to make a buck without any consideration of the financial or emotional harm they may cause. A 20 Year Process...

A father looks forward to and dreads the day he hands his son the keys to his own car. Today my son was full of emotions. He was excited to have a reliable vehicle and the independence associated with it. He smiled from ear to ear as he texted and chatted with his friends. I was excited as well; however, this new vehicle has a slightly different meaning to me. As my son prepares himself for college in the fall, it is my hope that I have provided him with the tools to help him guide this “vehicle”safely to all the places he may go. I know that rocky roads are inevitable. Sometimes storms or road construction may obstruct his view. Sometimes he will find himself in an unfamiliar place. It is my hope that during these uncertain times, he embraces his “driver training”. It is my hope that I have paved the way to make his travels easier. Today, I handed my son the keys to his own car. Mr. Campbell provided the most amazing customer service I have ever experienced at a car dealership! While I am in the process of trying to rebuild my credit and get out of a vehicle that was killing me financially on gas and payments I honestly had very little faith that I would be able to trade in my car and get something affordable and nice. I worked in the car business for 6 years. I dealt with numerous dealerships during those years and was completely turned off with the car buying process as a whole. We had a bad experience with a dealership on a previous Toyota we purchased a few years ago. After an auto accident left me with a totaled car, I was dreading dealing with the whole car buying process once again. Toyota of Louisville is not your typical dealership. They truely care about their customers and made the whole process go extremely smooth. We were in and out in no time with the employees going above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our purchase and the treatment we received doing so. I cannot speak highly enough of our salesman, Joseph. Outstanding individual who truely cared about us and made this whole process as enjoyable as possible. We were not a paycheck, we were people. I am always skeptical about car dealers but Joseph Campbell was an exception to the norm. He was quite honest and open about the whole process. I felt like he was working with me as opposed to many car dealers who seem to just try to work the customer over. Joseph listened to me when I told him what I was looking for and what my budget restraints were. He didn't try to sell me something I wasn't looking for. Since my previous car had been totaled in an accident I had only a small window of time to find a new one. Joseph and the dealership were quite understanding about the problems that come with waiting for a total-loss check from the insurance company. They were willing to work with me in so many ways. The price was better than anything else I could find around the area. Joseph happened to own a Camry himself at the time so he was able to give me personal opinions and insight about the vehicle. Perhaps the most pleasant part of the process was the fact that Joseph made me feel like a friend or family member. He always returned my texts or phone calls quickly, even after the deal was done. I know without a doubt that if I needed help with something with the car he would return my call in a hurry. This probably won't be the last Camry I buy from him.

My wife wanted a Jaguar XF for years. In 2011 we bought a...

My wife wanted a Jaguar XF for years. In 2011 we bought a new Avalon from Rick Donnell. Because she wanted a Jaguar for so long, while she was in Afghanistan I sold her Avalon and bought her a Jaguar. When she returned she was very surprised and happy, however she often mentioned her Avalon was nicer and had better amenities. After driving the Jag 1 year she had enough and wanted a new Avalon. We contacted Rick Donnel and worked with him and Joseph Campbell. They were very courteous, professional, and customer service oriented. We left the dealership that night with a new Avalon and they continue to follow up and ensure everything is okay with our new car. I have owned over 50 cars in my life and dealt with many dealerships and car salesmen. None compare to the service received from Toyota of Louisvile's Rick Donnell and Joe Campbell. If it were up to me I would put them in for a bonus or award of some sort as they are the epitome of great customer service, taking care of the customer, and professionalism. KUDOS TO THEM!

I had a sales territory for five years and taught...

I had a sales territory for five years and taught salesmanship for over 20 years, mostly at GE, and during that time I learned a few things about what characteristics make an effective sales-person. Joe Campbell is the best, most thorough, most caring automobile salesman I have ever encountered in over 60 years of buying cars. We drove many miles out of our way to get to this dealer on a service-related matter because of their values and ethics and our previous experience with a closer dealer. We had no intention of buying a new car. While waiting for service on our old vehicle, we visited the new car showroom and Joe came over to talk with us. His low key but informative manner impressed us....and one thing led to another and we bought a new fully featured Highlander. We were pleased with how Joe found out what we were interested in, gave us information, and HELPED US BUY. (I used to teach, "people hate to be sold, but love to buy....so help them buy.") He then worked with the dealer's managers to give us a fair price on our used car and the new one....so we bought. Perhaps one of the things that impressed us the most about Joe was his thorough follow-through. We had several questions or issues and Joe got the answers for us and contacted us. At no time was he overly pushy....but at all times willing to help us--even after we closed the deal. Since then, we have referred a relative visiting from Maryland to Joe and Toyota of Louisville and she bought a new Camry. When we are looking for a car again, we will obviously contact Joe Campbell. I was very pleased with the service I received from Joe Campbell. He was terrific. He did everything possible to make my purchase a positive experience and I was very happy when I drove off with my new red Camry!

I have a natural suspicion of salesman, so it was...

I have a natural suspicion of salesman, so it was necessary that if I had to deal with one it had to be someone I knew and trust. Joe was not only someone I trust but respect. Joe operates with integrety, honesty, and up and above what is reqiured of him. I would only hope that his co-workers and the management will take value in the assest that they have at their disposal.

Joe gave me one of the best overall car buying...

Joe gave me one of the best overall car buying experiences that I have ever had. Not only was he extremely nice but he was also honest with me (which isn't common when it comes buying cars.) I would recommend him to all my friends. He was one of the main reasons I bought my car at Toyota of Louisville.
