Nice people, but they dropped the ball!

I feel like a good deal on my 2019 Lexus 250h. I am disappointed that the car was not detailed, and spic and span inside and out. I flew in to buy this car. It was washed, the tires were shiney, but ....disappointed. They could have done better, not just ok.

This was fast and easy. We had requests and questions that Tim helped us with over the phone the night before. We showed up and our payments were exactly what he told us over the phone before we drove there. He kept his word so we kept ours. We were there for 20 minutes without haggling and drove off with our new car happy as can be. Great business!

Excellent Service

Car buying is a big decision, and reputations mean everything. Me and my entire family only purchase our vehicles (all Toyota of course), from Glen Harder at Toyota of Louisville. I purchased my first car many years ago, and since that time, my entire family buys each vehicle from him. I cannot say enough about his integrity and customer service. My new RAV4 Hybrid may be my favorite. Not just because of the vehicle but also the service that Glen and David Lail provided. I appreciate that the experience isn't high-pressure, but instead a true customer experience. They aren't just interested in a one-time sale, but a long-term relationship.

Took a trade-in without owners consent

Went through a divorce and ex-wife, without my knowledge, traded in a car titled, registered, and financed all solely through me. They then call me and ask to bring the title straight to them, bypassing it ever being in her name. When I asked Joseph Campbell if that was ok, he said absolutely. I asked if I could bring my neighbors car in to trade it, he said as long as they're ok with it. Here's the thing, they NEVER asked if I was ok with it before taking in my car. So I call the next day and ask to speak to a sales manager. Guess who I get... Joseph! I asked him, "oh, so you're a sales manager also?". "Yes," Joseph replied. Check out Toyota of Louisville's website, he is not a manager. Joseph made a bad call, taking in a trade from someone with no ownership on the car, selling her a new car. At this point he's realized he messed up. Saying whatever he can to fix his mistake. My car was listed on their website to be sold, and they didn't even have a title or know when they would have this deal settled. Toyota of Louisville, you employ scammers. How could Joseph do this, and how could your finance team allow this? Do you seriously accept a trade in without proper consent from the owner?

Best car buying experience you can have!

This was my 3rd time to buy a new vehicle from Toyota of Louisville and all 3 of those purchases were thru their sales rep Joseph Campbell. In over 50 years of car buying, I have never dealt with a better person than Joseph Campbell. His knowledge of the product, his "no pressure" attitude, his assistance and consideration and his friendliness have made me return to him for my purchases. In case you are wondering, I also got the best deals with Joseph and Toyota of Louisville.

I wasted my time going to Oxmoor Toyota before coming here(big mistake). When arriving Mr. Campbell welcomed my family and I and made us feel like we where apart of his! He showed me so many features of the Highlander that I had no idea of because the car sales lady at oxmoor Toyota didn’t take her time showing me. I HIGHLY recommend you don’t make the same mistake as me and waste your valuable time with any other dealership but Toyota of Louisville! Mr. Campbell is everything you want in a cars salesman knowledgeable, friendly, professional and made the process quick and painless!

Joe is Awesome!

I had the best experience buying a car from Joe Campbell, again! We met Joe when he was referred to us by a friend, five years ago. My wife and I both were absolutely amazed how easy and stress-free the car buying experience was with Joe as our salesman. The game winning "Touchdown" was scored by Tim Patillo, who also interacted with my Wife and 16-year old Son. His confident, mild mannered approach was just what we needed to settle our nerves and make the experience very pleasant. This was my second vehicle purchase in 10 months and I went back to Toyota of Louisville because of how I was treated. The only place we will buy!

Glen Harder at Toyota of Louisville is the most trustworthy, solid salesman in the city. We just bought our 5th car from him and TofL. Always a great experience. Staff is excellent from bottom to top. We've always gotten what we are looking for and been treated with respect and integrity. We've sent all our friends to Glen and will continue to do so in the future. In addition John Carbone has always taken care of our service needs and we plan for him to take care of our new Rav4 as well.

I looked at a used vehicle they had on their lot and I called them the following day and made them an offer which they took. I had been looking online for 2 weeks and then this car came across my newsfeed. I sent a text the next morning to see if it was still available. They said yes. Lindsay Cooper was kind enough to go out in the rain to video the car nside and out and send it to me. I filled everything out online and went to dealership after work to test drive. This dealership has honestly restored my faith in car dealerships. The interactions that I had with the Toyota dealers in Ohio felt as if they were looking to take advantage and were playing me. I can't say enough about Louisville Toyota. They were all exceptional and really made this dream happen for me. Ashley was the girl. She kept in contact and kept me informed. Tim was just as amazing in providing me with all the direction and information I would need to drive this beautiful car back to Ohio. And to top it off he's a Buckeye and played football for OSU!! David was also extremely helpful, knowledgable and patient. Not one time did anyone complain that we didn't get there until 7pm and kept them there past closing. In fact, it was just the opposite, everyone that my husband and I spoke with was extremely kind, honest and fair and I will be forever grateful. THANK YOU TEAM AT LOUISVILLE TOYOTA !!! I highly recommend this dealership and I'm so glad we made the drive from Ohio

All those mentioned above did an outstanding job of taking care of us in their particular roles. Ashley responded to us quickly via the Internet, Glenn knew all about the technology and features of the car, Richard made everything we asked for easy and David took care of the financials without a hitch. Always an excellent, no-pressure experience!

My wife and I have been dealing with Glen Harder at Toyota of Louisville for at least fifteen years and both he and the support staff there have always been super-helpful, super-friendly and super-easy to work with. We’ve purchased three used cars through Glen, then took the plunge in 2016 and decided to lease a brand-new RAV4. Glen made the experience really pleasant and painless and gave us all the information up front we needed o make a good, informed decision. Yesterday, July 20, 2019, we traded up from the 2016 model to the 2019 model and Glen insured the whole process was smooth and painless. Our visit to the Toyota of Louisville on Dixie Hwy was quick and painless. We were able to come to terms fairly quickly with no pressure. Our salesman, Glen, was very knowledgeable about the vehicle which was fantastic. Lisa was able to get us a less than expected interest rate which was greatly appreciated. The negotiation with Richard was as painless as possible. Dean had us signed up and out the door very quickly. This whole team was a pleasure to work with throughout our purchase. Just purchased my 6th new Toyota fr this dealership.Have always been happy w/the customer care you are given. Great people to work with. The sales team are not too pushy like other dealerships. They are there when u want them otherwise they allow you your space. Management is also fabulous. Can’t say enough good about the guy I have done business with since 1994. (Ron Pence). He is very fair. I send all my friends there and feel comfortable doing it.

Best experience with a dealership EVER!

Not only was my buying experience with Ed Childers absolutely wonderful, yesterday, 2 weeks after I bought my car, I had locked my keys in the car and I called the dealership after 7pm, Ron Pence answered my call and in under 20mins Phil Clayton arrived at the kroger parking lot where I was stranded with my 3yo son to bring the spare key I hadn't yet had programmed, to unlock my car....this dealership and all their employees go above and beyond anything required of the normal salesperson position....if you are in the market for a new or used car you absolutely HAVE to visit Toyota of Louisville on Dixie Highway, and I personally recommend Ed Childers, he'll help you hunt for the best vehicle and deal that fits your needs the best! 10 starts guys, not only do you rock but you're also my HEROS!

*Warning to out of state buyers*

I was contacted by Lincoln Satram fairly quickly upon my request for a vehicle at this location. I'm an out of state buyer so I more than likely had more questions and concerns and I'm purchasing sight unseen. Lincoln started out great, answered quickly, sent over pictures and we connected on the phone. Pleasant conversation. Everything was on the right track. We matched up numbers and I had sent over all of my payoff information and we were in agreement. Lincoln's exact words are"My GM's left for the evening, I'll let you know in the morning for sure" I wait until 1pm and I have no response so I send a friendly check-in email and text. No reply for a few hour. Lincoln's finally lets me know it's his dayoff and he'll send over the info at 5:30pm as well as a video of the vehicle running. I requested the vehicle video running after I had agreed to pick up the vehicle the following day or day after. No response.No paperwork. No Video. I then reach out once again the following day(Now 3 days waiting for GM), and Lincoln tells me the vehicle has been sold. Mind you, I've already taken the credit hit by getting financed and my bank had put all the money in my account so that I was able to pay by cash or cashiers check as this is an out of state purchase. Lincoln tells me they do not hold cars. Which is weird. I mean, let me know that in the beginning, and I would of put a larget deposit down. Or give me a shout out and let me know someone else is interested. I had requested the day off from work, got financed and was ready to go and just needed the "GM to sign off the final number" in which I never heard back from. Something is shady here. If I could pass on anything it's to let out of state buyers you do not hold cars. I've never seen a dealership do that, or not take a deposit. If this is the case, it would have been nice to know this ahead of time. I 100% do NOT recommend this dealership to any out of state buyer as their business practice and communication is lacking. I'm deeply hurt and frustrated.

While waiting for an oil change to be done on our previous vehicle, my husband & I walked across the street to see what was new on the lot of Toyota of Louisville. This is where we met Lincoln Satram; he showed us a few vehicles and was very knowledgeable of the product and gave us brochures that we requested. Purchased a 2010 equinox with 30,000 miles on it from sam the lower credit specialist. I haven't had this thing in my driveway longer than 3 moths it's constantly in the shop for weeks with several engine rebuilds. Tried 1000 times to contact them and never got a call back. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS DEALER THEY WILL SCAM YOU AND TAKE AVANTAGE OF YOU BY SELLING YOU SOMETHING THAT ISN'T RELIABLE. FAMILY BOUGHT HERE FOR YEARS WE ARE DONE!!

We moved from San Diego to Louisville, work related, and decided to retire our Saturn and had a wonderful experience working with Sam when we bought the 2007 Corolla Sport. I will add my daughter now has this vehicle for college. Again in 2010 we went to Sam and purchased another Corolla Sport. The same friendly welcome back attitude and no non-sense customer service was greatly appreciated. With the Prius once again very helpful and went over everything concerning the vehicle. There was a question I had concerning the car and he didn't really know the answer. What I appreciated was the fact he said he wasn't sure the went and found out instead of throwing out an answer. Sam is one of two people I would send my friends, family and co-workers to to purchase a vehicle and the other is in San Diego CA. From day one to now Sam has been there to help and ensure we were good with our vehicle even after we left the lot. The best advertisement, good or bad, is word of mouth. I have passed Sam's name and contact info to people who were looking for a vehicle new or used. I am sure as long as I am living in the Louisville area we will do business again. I want to say a big thank you to all at Toyota of Louisville especially Mr Sam Smith.After recently being made disabled with the amputation of my right leg it was important that I exchanged my GT Mustang for a vehicle that I could get in and out of a lot easier.The Mustang obviously being to low for me.My case being a little different in that not being able to chose a car of my choice as I did when I purchased the Mustang.I had to have a car that I could get in and out of easily.After going to a few dealerships it seems as though only Mr Sam Smith really understood my delima.So after sitting in a few vehicles a Chevy Tracker seemed perfect and was purchased. Preferred Dealer!?!

I have been to several dealerships and have spoken with several salesman and never thought I would consider one a friend. Joseph Campbell is that man but to call him a salesman and lumping him with the rest (you know the type) would be an insult. I want to thank Rick Donnell for providing the game plan that led to my purchase of a 2020 Avalon Limited auto. Easiest place to buy a vehicle

If you want to purchase a vehicle with nobody rushing rushing you, go to Toyota of Louisville. I bought a Camry XSE in July and yesterday I bought a new 4Runner. Before I bought it I walked the lot looking at these and the Tacoma and it did not take me long to figure out the Tacoma was not feasible for me. I was though worried about doing from a Ram truck, but this has more room for everyone with the 3rd row seating and our kids are gone. So it was not a hard decision and for when I need to haul something that won’t fit I will just use my trailer As for the sales staff, I knew who I was going to see and Tim was a great salesman with a an awesome sense of humor, talkative about things other than making a sale, so it is very easy to feel comfortable and relax. So if you want a relaxing, comfortable atmosphere without being tackled by multiple salesman coming at you in the lot, go to Toyota of Louisville and you will be disappointed. As far as a trade, I traded my 2014 Ram and before they even knew what I was looking to buy they came back with an appraisal = to the highest price on all pricing websites and this gave me an extra $4500 to put down So if you are looking for a new car and a fair trade go see Tim, you will not be disappointed and if you are wondering, no I don’t work there. I am getting ready to retire in 6 months. I just want everyone to know this is a great place and I have bought a lot of vehicles and never had an experience like this and I was not there all day. Pathetic Customer Service

Took my brand new Tacoma to them to fix the Blind Spot Monitoring as it stopped working the 3rd day I had it. Service department proceeded to tell me that I had to have done something as they do not simply stop working. They never even bothered to call Toyota. If they had, they would have found this can happen. They said I would have to pay for the repair. No one there seemed to care. It was simply the worst experience ever. I told the service manager this. He seemed to have cared less. Don't waste your time taking your care to their service department, even if it is brand new.

All of the personnel are TERRIFIC!!! They are completely HONEST with me about everything that involves my car. They never try to cheat me and always work with me for better pricing. I have been going to them for over 20 years, and I have no intention of ever going to anyone else. The only time anyone else ever TOUCHES my cars is when I am out of town and cannor get to them. Scott, John , Mike, Bud, and Nick are GREAT!!!! Also, Amanda is a great cashier!!! Their personalities are wonderful, and it's great talking with them not only about my car but also about anything else. I enjoy seeing them! Because of them, my Corolla has over 303,000 miles and my Rav4 has over 214,000 miles and STILL RUNNING STRONG!!!!! I am grateful for all of their service!!!!!

After 3 weeks a frustrating and stressful car shopping at five other dealerships I decided to walk-in at Toyota of Louisville. Even though I arrived just before closing after a hard long days work a Salesman greeted me and asked if I had been helped yet. Although the salesman was on his way home he took the time to help me and I was impressed by the fact that all of this occurred before I even reached the front door of the dealership. Toyota of Louisville cut through the crap that most dealerships use to distort prices and fees, and after purchasing my vehicle I wish I had started my search there at Toyota of Louisville because it would have saved me weeks of headaches, stress and time. Before I was sold on the car, I was sold on the way that I was treated! My AWESOME salesman was Kevin Willis, and the Finance Mgr. D.W. I can't say enough about Louisville Toyota. They were all exceptional and really made this dream happen for me. Ashley was the girl. She kept in contact and kept me informed. Tim was just as amazing in providing me with all the direction and information I would need to drive this beautiful car back to Ohio. And to top it off he's a Buckeye and played football for OSU!! David was also extremely helpful, knowledgable and patient. Not one time did anyone complain that we didn't get there until 7pm and kept them there past closing. In fact, it was just the opposite, everyone that my husband and I spoke with was extremely kind, honest and fair and I will be forever grateful. THANK YOU TEAM AT LOUISVILLE TOYOTA !!! I highly recommend this dealership and I'm so glad we made the drive from Ohio

I wasted my time going to Oxmoor Toyota before coming here(big mistake). When arriving Mr. Campbell welcomed my family and I and made us feel like we where apart of his! He showed me so many features of the Highlander that I had no idea of because the car sales lady at oxmoor Toyota didn’t take her time showing me. I HIGHLY recommend you don’t make the same mistake as me and waste your valuable time with any other dealership but Toyota of Louisville! Ed "K" is the best. He made my first car buying experience what I thought was impossible: painless and enjoyable. I walked out of another dealership in the midst of a deal because the customer service was horrible, the salesman was pushy (including telling me to give him all fives on this web site and telling me how disappointed he was I hadn't done it yet, even though the transaction wasn't complete), and just the overall lack of warmth and care in the place. Ed and the staff at Toyota of Louisville were the complete opposite. From the moment I set foot in the parking lot, I could tell the staff cared about me and not just another sale. Everyone was warm and friendly. And Ed is the complete opposite of what car salesmen are supposed to be. He's nice, friendly, funny and immediately put me at ease. He's a genuinely good guy and extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles. I will tell everyone to go to Toyota of Louisville and work with Ed when in the market for a car.

During my business trip to Louisville, I had a major car...

During my business trip to Louisville, I had a major car problem. At least, for me it was major considering I was 4.5 hours away from home and by myself. I had called road side assistance and they jump started my car. I was attempting to get to a Toyota dealer (I have a 2012 Camry) when my car died, again, on the way to the dealership. The bad parts: my car won't start, I'm alone, and no one would help me. I was forced to call road side assistance again, because the Toyota dealership of OXMOOR would not WALK (yes, I was walking distance from them!) down to my car and jump start it so I could get it to their garage!!!! Thank God, Toyota of Louisville was willing to help me. I had my car towed to Toyota of Louisville. The wonderful staff of Toyota of Louisville offered to stay after hours and give me a ride to the airport so I could rent a car to get to my business meetings. They were wonderful. They had my car repaired the following day, they helped me return the rental car I had, and one person went above and beyond the call of service. I stated I was 4.5 hours away from home. Well, I'm from a very small town that does not have interstates or major highways. My GPS could not find the address to Toyota of Louisville, so Steve Escalatte, salesman, gave me directions over the phone about how to get to their dealership, then gave me his cell phone number in case I needed it. I GOT LOST! I called Steve for help, he calmed me down, and got me back on the road I was supposed to be on and to the dealership. He was waiting for me when I arrived and helped me get my Camry so I could go back to my motel. Toyota of Louisville, GREAT JOB! The staff was friendly, the dealership clean and well kept, and plenty of vehicles to choose from. Steve, I praise my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for you and all your help. You went above and beyond. Thank you so much. This may not sound like a huge ordeal to some of you. But, for a woman who grew up and still lives in the mountains and coal fields of Harlan County Ky, this was a very trying experience. If you're in Louisville and looking for a Toyota (I still recommend Camry, it was just a battery) go to Toyota of Louisville. Ask for Steve Escalatte and buy from them.

All of the personnel are TERRIFIC!!! They are completely HONEST with me about everything that involves my car. They never try to cheat me and always work with me for better pricing. I have been going to them for over 20 years, and I have no intention of ever going to anyone else. The only time anyone else ever TOUCHES my cars is when I am out of town and cannor get to them. Scott, John , Mike, Bud, and Nick are GREAT!!!! Also, Amanda is a great cashier!!! Their personalities are wonderful, and it's great talking with them not only about my car but also about anything else. I enjoy seeing them! Because of them, my Corolla has over 303,000 miles and my Rav4 has over 214,000 miles and STILL RUNNING STRONG!!!!! I am grateful for all of their service!!!!!

Best buying experience ever!

I had been looking online for 2 weeks and then this car came across my newsfeed. I sent a text the next morning to see if it was still available. They said yes. Lindsay Cooper was kind enough to go out in the rain to video the car nside and out and send it to me. I filled everything out online and went to dealership after work to test drive. Totally fell in love with this car! Everyone was so helpful and nice!
